You probably have all of
your phone numbers stored in the Contacts database of your Handheld PC. When you want to
call someone, you have to open Contacts, read the phone number from the tiny screen, then
dial the number.Hopefully you don't get a busy signal,
because you would have to do the whole thing again. And if you are using your credit card,
you might have to dial a very long number.
There is an easier way! Just follow these three steps to get connected:
 |
Select a contact from your contact list |
 |
Tap just one button: DIAL |
 |
Hold the handset of your telephone to the HPC
speaker |
|
|
and you are done!
sixxac Dial4Me also uses the Windows CE communication properties to know where it is
dialing from, translating the telephone numbers accordingly (e.g. adding/removing area
codes).
Even if the phone you are using can't generate tones, you can still dial credit card
numbers or control an answering machine.
